Mind you this place is going out of business (I now know why) and is trying to sell all inventory.....my wife and I saw a very nice cement bird bath for sale. It had a tag hanging from it for I think $425.00 marked down to $225.00. Living in the area we have inquired w/ the Gypsy herself on several occaisions, as they have been bringing the business to a close with a 50% off sale over the last month or so. We have been hoping it could be had for less if it remained as time went by. Well our first trip and inquiry we offered $75.00 and the Gypsy Lady said would sell it to us for $125.00. We thanked her for her time. A couple of weeks later we strolled by again, inquired what she might sell it for w/ a couple of weeks having passed...she said $150.00. We reminded her of her offering it at $125.00 a couple of weeks earlier. She apoligized, said she had made a mistake in price and could go no lower than &150.00. 2 more weeks pass, I go past the place and think I might surprise my wife and see what I can do. They have the usual going out of business 50% off sign out front. I inquire w/ a gentleman, saying the birdbath is marked at $225.00 w/ 50% off, I'd like to buy it at $112.50. He says he'd have to check...out come the Gypsy Lady, I remind her of my wife and I having inquired several time and at 50% off would she take $112.50....she started himing and hawing....that's 50% of the original price...I could not let it go for that. I offered $120.00, she said she could go no lower than $170.00 HUH!!! I reminded her of the $125.00 changing to $150.00 - she said she made a mistake. I said we've heard that before, offered $140.00 she would not take it....I walked away and suggest you do to..
